Most of my paintings are inspired by landscape, be it real or imaginary. I live next to Dartmoor and am definitely influenced by the geography and seasons surrounding me. I usually work in acrylic or oil on board on canvas. I like to use inks and oils as well as torn scraps to give texture to certain areas. I really enjoy resurrecting old canvasses, and transforming their surface or building it into the next picture and I often work the frame into the image.
